Cody Gallagher is AMAZING!!!! I had an issue with my ac unit tripping the power in my apartment and the community had to call David Long to take a look. Cody is so professional and has the best personality. He came in and in no time at all identified the problem and got me all taken care of.

We called David Long for an emergency. Cody arrived within minutes and was very helpful though each step of the repairs. I knew we were going to be able to count on him to keep us updated, and the repair would be done the right way the first time. I'm so thankful to have the team at David Long for our electrical needs.

On this renovation to our home, John and Adam came over to help us install a very complicated outdoor infrared heating system. This is an old house (1930) that has been added on to in every direction. So, not only was the heating system complicated and requiring expert installation, but in this old house it took incredible ingenuity and skill to go over, under, around and through multiple obstacles to get this job done well. Now it is done - beautifully and looks as if it was always a part of the house (not that they had outdoor infrared heating in 1930....) John and Adam are a great team, professional, kind, skilled, hardworking and patient (with me - who wants everything done precisely). And, you'll love this: John would call me if they were going to be even 10 minutes late! Who does that anymore??? I cannot recommend David Long Electrical highly enough.

Cody was very professional and knew what he was doing when it came to electrical work. Our outlets were not GFCI protected so he fixed all of them. Previous owner has taped off switches in two rooms and he helped me discover why. He also fixed electrical outlet in garage that had pulled out of the wall. He installed a new thermostat for my heating/cooling system. Cody answered all my questions about the electrical situations that I had questions about in my new house. Thank you, Cody!

I think his name is Cody. He is a life saver. I live at the Flats At Arrowwood I did have electricity for 1 day no hot water for 5 days. The first night I looked up elections that were opened late and Found David long Electricans and told the maintenance to call them. They had the nerve to ask me was I going to pay for it. 4 more days went by with no hot water when I told them circuit braker went pop pop pop when I hit it. Finally after the 4 days they called David Long who sent Cody out he was excellent replacement wiring to hot Water Heater. My water is the hottest it's ever been since I moved in almost 2 yrs ago. Wish they listened to me on day one. But thank you David Long and Cody for your excellent service!!

David and his team are the best electricians I have ever used in Charlotte. David responds very quickly, walks me through some troubleshooting, and deploys his capable electricians to fix my issues. I highly recommend this company for your electrical needs.

I have relied on David Long Electrical for over 15 years for all my electrical projects from thousands of dollars in a rebuild to less than one hundred in maintenance and never had any issues with service or product. I recently had a series of calls about loiters in my office park after hours. I called David Long Electrical and they were out the next morning. His crew installed exterior light fixtures. I requested the recessed can light fixtures in the under hangs be replaced as well but his technician saved me a bundle by simply looking at the pigtail bulb, explaining how outside temperatures affect lumens and replacing the bulbs with energy efficient high output bulbs. David Long Electrical also replaced my dated florescent fixtures in my offices with the new LED fixtures under the Duke Energy rebate program saving me 1/2 on each fixture as well as 25% on my utility bill each month. David Long Electrical hires the best trouble shooters and technicians in the industry and when dealing with electrical that is priceless. I highly recommend David Long Electrical for all your electrical needs. You will not be disappointed!! Fantastic experience!! They sent a crew out on short notice to install an exterior outlet for a low voltage lighting hook up I was doing, same day service, professional quality and great service crew. I will definitely be using them again.

I reached out to David through a referral to install a special outlet for sauna that was unexpectedly delivered two weeks early. David and team were able to come out same day to quickly diagnose the best option to run wiring from panel in garage all the way to other side of house to upstairs master bath. John was very professional and did an outstanding job. Overall the customer service was top notch and will use them on future projects. I would highly recommend David along electrical. Professional group with knowledge of electricity. We needed some switches changed to dimmers, indoor and outdoor plugs upgraded to GFCI, fixtures replaced, ceiling fans replaced. Had them come back for a bathroom fan connection issue and discovered the switch housing inside the wall plate was deteriorating! David checked the entire condo - according to my direction - and he found another six like that. Very helpful, paid attention to details on everything but worked quickly. The negative review here for DL on Google is from “Google User” and gives no explanation of why. This is a fake user review down-voting a competition of another electrical contractor. I didn’t have any problem with their scheduling, time of arrival nor quality of their work. It was all top notch and I will hire them again. Personally I don’t want the cheapest contractor. I want the reasonable price for expertise. Electrical fires are things I want to avoid and I expect the contractor I hire to help me avoid code violations and install my electrical properly.

Used them yesterday for a difficult job. They were prompt, professional and patient. The cost was reasonable and job done exactly as we wanted . Both gentlemen came with uniforms on and looked professional. Explained the process and completes it on time.
